Gamblin Galkyd Lite

Gamblin Galkyd Lite has been Formulated to thin oil colors and maintain strong flexible paint films, with a viscosity similar to that of a traditional dammar/refined linseed oil/turpentine painting medium. Gamblin Galkyd Lite will leave brush strokes in thicker layers and allow a longer working time (approximately three hours). Glazes are slightly less glossy than those made with traditional mediums or Galkyd.

• This low viscosity alkyd resin painting medium is a good replacement for traditional damar/ linseed oil/ turpentine combination mediums.
• Galkyd Lite dries within about 3 hours to a subdued gloss
• will maintain your brush strokes
• For thinning, Gamblin recommends using Gamsol or a small amount of Refined Linseed Oil.
