What is pigment powder?

Pigment powders are colour in its most raw form this is then added give colour to paint and other mediums.

Are powdered pigments the same as mica powder?

.mica powders are used for metallic colours as metals cannot be used as waterbased products such as acrylic would tarnish the metal
