Sennelier Turner Retouch Varnish Spray

Sennelier Turner Retouch Varnish Spray is a fast-drying, dammar gum-based light varnish designed to protect oil paintings during early stages and transport. This temporary varnish corrects sinkage, revives dulled tones, and creates an ideal surface for layering additional paint without suffocating the artwork or impeding oxidation. Its diluted formulation allows the painting to breathe while providing a stable anchor between paint layers. Use to restart work on dry surfaces or as a protective interim finish. Reduces in strength over time as intended. 400ml aerosol spray. Thin with petroleum spirits or turpentine as needed.
