Gamblin Oil Ground

Gamblin Oil Painting Ground provides a durable, luminous, and non-absorbent base for oil paintings. Crafted from alkyd resin, titanium dioxide, and calcium carbonate, it offers excellent opacity and a lightly toothy surface for superior paint adhesion. This ground enhances colour vibrancy and preserves the richness of oil paints far more than acrylic gessos and primers. Its low absorbency also supports reductive techniques, allowing artists to easily remove paint and reveal the bright ground beneath.
