Michael Harding Non Absorbent Primer helps prevent oil paint from looking dull by limiting oil absorption into the surface. It creates a highly pigmented white ground with a strong bond and subtle tooth for oil and acrylic painting.
Apply two coats, allowing the first to become touch-dry (about one hour) before applying the second. Dilute the first coat with up to 25% water if needed for easier application. Suitable for linen, wood, MDF and pre-primed canvases. Apply over a sound existing layer, such as acrylic gesso. Do not use over rabbit-skin or hide glue, cardboard, or flimsy supports.
