Gamblin Galkyd Lite

Gamblin Galkyd Lite is perfect for thinning oil colours while still maintaining strong, flexible paint films. Its viscosity is similar to traditional dammar, linseed oil, or turpentine mediums. Using this product, brush strokes will still be visible in thicker layers and you'll have a longer working time of approximately three hours. Keep in mind that glazes may have a slightly less glossy finish compared to those made with traditional mediums or Galkyd.

• This low viscosity alkyd resin painting medium is a good replacement for traditional damar/ linseed oil/ turpentine combination mediums.
• Galkyd Lite dries within about 3 hours to a subdued gloss

• For thinning, Gamblin recommends using Gamsol or a small amount of Refined Linseed Oil.
