excellent - worth any additional expense
Initially another art store talked me into a cheaper brand of easel - it now sits in isolation in its own room - basically as it's too big at the base and the height- to get out of the room...
Two weeks later after measuring my doorways - I bought this Mabef with the crank - which though can extend to the same height - reduces to a smaller more size if needed and has a smaller base - so it rolls easily through doorways -
it takes around 20-30 kilos weight if needed and I'm absolutely loving it - thankyou Art to Art and Mabef!! -
My one caution would be to ask Mabef to cushion it with something when packing it to avoid damage or chips from rough handling of the box.
But otherwise this easel rocks - really easy to assemble - with clear instructions - visual and text - and the crank is fantastic - to move it up and down - beats the ratchets which broke on the other easel.
Art to Art were also good to talk with - many thanks.
