Matisse Impasto Medium

Matisse Impasto Medium is a full-bodied texture paste and modelling compound that may be mixed with acrylic paint for very thick application without fear of shrinking or cracking. Matisse Impasto Medium may be mixed with any acrylic paint in up to equal volumes with very little visual colour loss. The use of Matisse Impasto Medium will neither increase or decrease the gloss rate of the finished painting, however will dry to a low subdued sheen, similar to a dried paint film of regular Matisse Colours, not causing any light reflection or distortion.
