Can you paint FIMO clay?
Absolutely! However, because it’s polymer clay, that means acrylic paint will bond better to it if you apply it to the raw polymer clay rather than after it is baked.
How long does FIMO take to harden?
Fimo takes about 30 minutes in the oven per 6mm thickness, at the recommended temperature. Polymer clay is always safest baked lower for longer, as clay can be rebaked if still soft, but can't be fixed if burnt.
